Overview & Updates

Week 10

We have been improving our mobile app in this week. We also started making video, poster, and report. We have also got some cool equipments for the demo day.

Week 9

We have enhanced our mobile app through this week. We also could get the 3d case which our device can fit in pretty good shape.

We finalized our hardware design in this week. We designed a 3-dimensional case relative to our finalized design. We also started making a fresh app to make the UI and controls much easier for users to understand.

Week 7

This week, we made a few proto-boards of our hardware circuits. We also finished the consistency checking function. We are now shifting gear to add little more features in software, wrap up and move onto the hardware part.

Week 6

This week we worked heavily on the software side to implement the features on Android app. We also managed to fix some bugs with bluetooth in android and are working to generate the graph on android.

Week 5

This week we worked on the Android app and bluetooth connection to the RFduino. Also did some more data analysis on the raw data we are getting from the IMU sensor.

Week 4

This week, we have got all the components we need to start our project. We also met up with Professor Reynolds on Thursday to learn about I2C. We tested several features on RFduino and IMU sensors. We have learned how to effectively collect data, and generated a simple graph with data collected. We also discussed about the challenges for our project.
